CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Supporting your clinical skills

Clinical therapy supervision involves a structured process where experienced therapists provide guidance and support to less experienced therapists. This service helps ensure the quality and efficacy of therapeutic practices. This service is open to current pre-licensed clinicians, Licensed Mental Health Clinicians (LMHCs), and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW/LICSW). If you are interested in more information on how you can develop a clinical supervisory relationship with us, please contact us and click here for more information on what we can offer.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Here to Support Your Gender Euphoria

Holding Hands

The requests for medically necessary surgical interventions and hormone replacement therapy for trans* individuals have steadily increased over the past several years. Surgeons and providers rely heavily on a mental health provider to assess the readiness and eligibility of the patient to undergo surgery or treatment, which the mental health provider documents in a referral letter to the surgeon/provider. In a short-term model of treatment, we will explore the preparedness for surgery/treatment, expectations, and surgical/treatment goals and will communicate with the provider to promote positive outcomes and inform multidisciplinary care.

We also offer non-medical letters of support for a name change or gender marker change on legal documents such as birth certificates, driver's licenses, social security cards, and passports.

*trans is the umbrella term consisting of transgender, agender, nonbinary, genderqueer, genderfluid, etc.
